Silk Fusion

This class covers how to make and use silk fusion. This wonderful fabric can be used as a base to sew and stamp on, it can be shaped in 3-dimensional objects, can be applied to a smooth surface and it can be as slight and delicate as a fairy's wing or as heavy as leather. The materials and basic equipment for making 2 sheets of silk and a candle holder are included in the class fee. Wear grubby clothes and bring a tub or bucket to take home your silk. Also bring a sack lunch.

Felted Silk Scarf

Come learn to make a gorgeous scarf using a silk scarf as the base, wet felting with wool roving and embellishing it with locks, Angelina, and handspun yarns. Create a masterpiece!
